Ichorous is a blood-splattering roguelike about slaying grotesque enemies and using their blood to grow stronger. The player controls ‘The Warlock’ who has been contracted by the banished god of blood known to you as ‘The Patron’ to kill monstrous foes to collect and return their godly blood, Ichor. In return for your service you grow more powerful with upgrades but also face more challenges as each upgrade is attached with a curse that will increase the difficulty of future levels.
